Saudi court sentenced a Shia citizen to 15 years in prison




On 16 September 2014, the Jadda’s Specialized Criminal Court hold the fifth session for the Shia citizen, Abdullah Ali Mohammed Al-Mazra, from the town of Awamiyah in EasternProvince.




On 16 September 2014, the Jadda’s Specialized Criminal Court hold the fifth session for the Shia citizen, Abdullah Ali Mohammed Al-Mazra, from the town of Awamiyah in EasternProvince.


The court general attorney brought charges against “Al-Mazra”:


- Filming the sermons of Sheikh Nmer and posting them on Youtube site.



- Calling youths to participate of anti-government protests.



- Participating in anti-government protests.



- Chanting anti-government slogans.



- Reciting provoking poems during the protests.



Abdullah Ali Mohammed Al-Mazra was arrested on 30 January 2013, on the hand of security force when he had referred to childbirth hospital of Dammam where his wife there, then he was transferred to Dammam prison.
