On 15 October 2014, the Saudi authorities arrested the Shi’a citizen 'Mohammad al-Nimr' after the death sentence passed against his brother ”Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr” at the Riyadh’s Specialized Criminal Court.
No one of his family members knew the location of his detention or the reasons behind his arrest.
