Former president of Comoros at the International conference of the Islamic world scholars in defense of Palestinian resistance in the Iranian capital of Tehran said any measure which marginalizes the issue of Palestine is rejected calling Muslim countries to cooperate for reconstruction of Gaza.
Former president of Comoros, Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi, participated in the International conference of the Islamic world scholars in defense of Palestinian resistance to express his gratitude for the Islamic Republic of Iran and the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought saying that conference should be the beginning for confrontation with political and economic challenges particularly those of the Palestine.
He quoted the remark by Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) regarding the importance of Muslims attending each others issues and said this quote puts a heavy burden on our shoulders to support Palestinian resistance.
He demanded the participants to call all Muslims for supporting Palestinian resistance and congratulated the victory of Gazans brought about by the resistance and sacrifices made by the people.
According to the scholar Palestine is in need of the Arab and Islamic Ummah and that all Muslim countries have to ignore their minor disagreements for a unified support of the Palestinian nation and helping their leaders to end the occupation of the Palestinian lands.
He addressed the participants in the event and said," I ask you to criticize the killing of civilians by the Zionist regime and urge international bodies including Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the UN to denounce the genocide."
Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi also urged the conference participants to prioritize the issue of Palestine as the number one issue in the world of Islam and said, "Here we denounce any measure which leads to marginalization of the issue of Palestine."
