According to the report issued from Astan Quds Razavi website, on the side line of unveiling new awarded tableau of master Farshchian called “Meraj” Dr. Saeed Abd al-Husseini said: With regard to the special attention of Astan Quds Razavi’s great custodian to the issue of cultural and Islamic heritage and also preserving artistic and historical exquisites, the vastness of Astan Quds Razavi’s museums is 16 times higher than the years before the Islamic revolution victory.
Regarding the features of those object kept in Astan Quds Razavi’s museums, he stressed: Throughout history, people devoted to the holy sanctuary of infallible Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.) especially Imam Reza (A.S.) have offered their valuable objects, most of which related to the Islamic and Shi'a culture, to Astan Quds Razavi’s museums.
In continuation of his speech, Abd al-Husseini introduced master Farshchian as one of the glories of the Islamic Republic of Iran and added: Master Farshchian is in fact a competent artist whose works of art represent affection to Wilayat, Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), and particularly Imam Reza (A.S.).
Astan Quds Razavi’s deputy stated: The honor given to this artist of our country is a divine blessing by which he can put his works near the Razavi Holy Shrine which is a piece of heaven. He also said these artistic works can be visited by thousands of interested people.
Referring to the coincidence of unveiling of this newest tableau with the Ghadir Khum Eid, he said: This artistic work will be one of the lasting and enduring works of Master Farshchian.
It is reminded that Mahmood Farshchian, Iranian artist and painting Master, has ever donated 15 valuable and artistic works of Art to the Astan Quds Razavi.
