The secretariat General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Transportation Ministry for the establishment of the "Imam Hussein International Airport."
Fouzi Esh-Shahir, Engineer of Khayrat El-Sibtein Company, and Supervisor of all Imam Hussein Holy Shrine investment projects, indicates that the establishment of the Airport will begin 30 days after the signing of the bill of understanding.
The unique structure of the Airport will be built in a way to allow the arrival and departure of 15 to 20 million passengers per year.
