Specific programs of the last ten days of Safar, Mahmood Momtaz explained, in a new conference among the reporters, about the programs of the Astan Quds Razavi's assistance of sacred premises and pilgrims' affairs during the martyrdom days of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) and Daheyeh Shefa'at and said: In order to provide large number of pilgrims of the sacred places with better and more services, this assistance has announced a special condition from 10 a.m. on the 18th to 24th of Dec. .
Organizing attendance of 15 thousand pilgrims from 6 thousand religious processions
In continuation of his talk, Momtaz said: The entrance of 15 thousand religious groups and presence of 6 thousand of these groups in the areas of the sacred premises of the Razavi Holy Shrine has been anticipated, during the last days of Safar. He stressed: The holy porticos of Sheikh Hur Ameli, Kowsar, Ghadir, Tusi, Dar al-Hujjah, Dar al-Marhamah, and Sheikh Tabarsi tomb have been allocated to programs of the religious groups.
He added: All religious groups which have records in the Holy Shrine can take the permission for their religious programs in the Holy Shrine's sacred places by going to Sheikh Muhammad Aref's Tomb (Pir Pallandouz) from 7 in the morning up to 9 p.m..
Avoiding following the superstitious moves and autistic beliefs and not using speakers and drums were introduced as the limitations of these mourning groups in the Holy Shrine by Momtaz. He also said: The criteria for selecting the best group in the Razavi Holy Shrine are: Observing discipline, having good appearance, using authentic texts and poems and also following traditional mourning.
Movement limitations of the religious groups in the Holy Shrine's sacred places
Referring to the limitations imposed on the movements of the religious groups in the Holy Shrine, the assistance of the sacred premises and pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi stated: Sheikh Tusi route has been considered for the entrance of the groups and the Sheikh Hur Ameli for their departure on the 30th of Azar and the 2nd of Dey (21th Dec.).
Referring to the huge presence of the religious groups in the days of Imam Reza's (A.S.) martydome, Momtaz reminded: Inqilab court will be used by men and all other sacred court yards porticos can be used both by men and women. He also said that like previous days all the sacred porticos can also be used by the public.
In continuation of his talk he emphasized on boosting the entrance gates for visitation of the religious groups and said: In the last ten days of Safar, the sacred porticos of Dar al-Hujjah and Dar al-Marhamah will be open to these mourning groups from 12 in p.m. until 4 a.m.
Establishing 35 free stations for serving the walking pilgrims
In continuation of his talks in this news conference, Momtaz said: Like the previous year, 35 stations have been also formed this year. From these stations, 12 were located outside the city, 20 inside the city, and 3 other were the groups which will provide the technical support.
Regarding these stations he said: These stations are located in Sento road, Malek Abad, Fariman, Mashhad and their vastness is about 100 thosand square meters. He also said that out of these 100 thousand meters 25 thousand square meters are roofed places.
Enjoying of over 100 thousand pilgrims from the services of the free stations
Momtaz stressed: More than 100 thousand walking pilgrims will use the services of these 35 stations inside and outside of the city.
Referring to offering of 300 thousand meals of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack in these welcoming stations he added: Among all the services which are given by the servants of the Imam Reza's (A.S) Holy Shrine in these stations we can refer to services of accommodation, medical and treatment services, providing the pilgrims with their basic needs, and cultural and religious services.
Assistant of sacred premises and pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razvi reminded: Some daily ceremonies such as collective prayer, religious lecture, and mourning ceremony are also held in these stations.
Serving 18 thousand of walking pilgrims in the banquet hall of the Hazrat Reza (A.S.)
Referring to the distributing, among the walking pilgrims and in the stations, the banquet hall tickets randomly, Momtaz said: In order to give the enjoyment of having the sacred food of the Imam Reza's (A.S.) banquet hall, the assistance of the sacred premises and pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi has the intention of distributing these meals in the stations.
He retreated: The banquet hall of the Razavi Holy Shrine will be hosting 18 thousand walking pilgrims in the last three days of Safar.
He noted: All the religious groups which have records in the documents of the office of religious groups' affairs will receive the food ticket of the banquet hall.
Performing two endowments of Mahdi Qoli Khan Qarayi and Mr. Ghorab
Referring to the performing of two endowments belonging to Mahdi Qoli Khan Qarayi and Mr. Ghorab during the days of Imam Reza's (A.S.) martyrdom, assistant of sacred premises and pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi stated: Coincident with the endowment week and with respect to the emphasis of Astan Quds Razavi's custodian to meet the rights of the endowments, these two endowments, based on their donators' intention, will be done exactly.
Momtaz said: endowment of Mahdi Qoli Khan Qarayi is done in ten nights between 18th to 27th of Safar from 18 to 19:30. Momtaz added: More than 6 thousand people from last year's excellent and elected groups in Tasua, Ashura, Arbaein, 28th and 29th of Safar and also all the religious groups from the country's town which have taken mourning cards from the religious groups office will be served based on this endowment and some presents will be given to the excellent groups.
He retreated: According to the endowment of Mr. Ghorab, also, over 10 thousand of the personnel and servants of the sacred places and workers of the Astan Quds Razavi which are working in Mashhad are served in the banquet hall of the Holy Shrine and in the martyrdom night of Imam Reza (A.S.).
Holding mourning ceremonies of the martyrdom of Imam Reza (A.S.)
In continuation of this meeting, the assistant of the sacred premises and pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said: Large gathering of Razavi mourners will be held by the presence of religious groups from all around the country and also pilgrims and Mashhadi citizens. He said this ceremony will be held in the Razavi Jame' courtyard and after the noon and afternoon prayers.
Momtaz stated: Holding the sermon ceremony of Imam Reza's (A.S.) martyrdom night will be held on Monday, after the evening prayers in Inqilab courtyard.
He continued: The Sham-e Ghariban ceremony of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) will be continued on the 23rd of Dec. after the evening prayers by walking from Astan Quds Razvi's central organization toward the Razavi Holy Shrine. He also said that this walking ceremony will be held by the servants of the Holy Shrine.
Referring to the elegy recitation and mourning ceremonies in the mourning, Momtaz said: This special ceremony will be held by the religious groups from 21st of Azar up to 1st of Dey. This ceremony is held from 5 in the morning in the Sheikh Hur Ameli portico. He also said that all these people will be served with a braeakfast meal in the banquet hall of the Holy Shrine.
At the end of this news conference, Momtaz announced on the creation of a candle carpet titled as "Candle of Mourning in the Grief of Shefa" and said: This 400-square-meter candle carpet will be spread for the first type between Bab al-Javad and Bab al-Reza and it includes 8 thousands candles.
Saying that 16 special places have been arranged for the candles around the sacred places of the Holy Shrine for the decorum and costumes of the public, he reminded: This year, black wearing of the Holy Shrine will be done in a special way and in its best kind in the Razavi Jame' courtyard.
